INTRODUCTION
On-site electricity is, in principle, temporary and can be modified as required.
Nevertheless, this installation (and the equipment and cables that make it up) must be installed in compliance with safety regulations.
In particular, workers must be protected against the following risks:
direct contact with a live part such as terminals or poorly insulated components;
indirect contact via an ungrounded mass ;
materials or cables that could obstruct traffic or cause personnel to fall or be injured.
These data must enable the design coordinator to provide general safety data for the temporary electrical installation on site, which will have to be paid for by the project owner to ensure a good level of safety on site and a lower cost than that of all the temporary electrical installations invoiced by the companies.
