5.1 Triangle with given side lengths
Data :
a point A ;
the length of sides [AB], [BC], [CD].
Layout :
With point A as the center, draw the arc with radius [AB] and place any point B on this arc;
With point A as the center, draw the arc with radius [AC] ;
With point B as the center, draw the arc with radius [BC] ;
the intersection of the two arcs determines point C (figure 20 ).
