In current practice, only the tables developed by Kérisel and Absi provide reliable values for thrust and stop coefficients. It is essential to note that these tables take into account specific conditions such as the angle of ground friction and the geometric configuration of the screen.

Important reminder

Coulomb's classical formulas only apply to thrust calculations, while Rankine's are limited to the special case of a vertical screen, with a horizontal free surface and zero ground-screen friction.
