1. VEC Guide

1.1 Context

The first Glued Exterior Glazing projects in France date back to 1990, with IBM in Lille, Montpellier and Bordeaux. The technique already existed in the United States, but only on fixed glazing. France was therefore the first country to use this technique for opening windows, a technique that has since evolved considerably. The first projects were carried out long before any guides were published. European (ATE) and French guides have now been published:
