1. Different types of electromagnetic interference signals

Electromagnetic disturbances can be classified according to their propagation mode into two categories: conducted disturbances and radiated disturbances. They can also be classified according to their nature: narrow-band disturbances (whose bandwidth is less than that of the disturbance receiver) [according to the International Electrotechnical Vocabulary Chapter 161 (IEC 50 - 161-06-16)] (figure 1 ) and wide-band disturbances (whose bandwidth is greater than that of the disturbance receiver) [according to the International Electrotechnical Vocabulary Chapter 161 (IEC 50 - 161-06-14)] (figure 2 ) which can be broken down according to their mode of appearance: they can be permanent, repetitive, time-dependent...
