1. Context

First and foremost, we consider an inductive switching converter that supplies a fictitious load represented by an output resistor (figure 1 ). A power stage is made up of power switches: these will be MOSFET (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) transistors [D3100][D3101]
