3. Technology modeling

Once the previous pre-sizing phase had been completed, all the converter parameters were defined, taking into account a number of technological elements:

  • the nature of semiconductors ;

  • close control circuit parameters ;

  • dimensioning of magnetic components ;

  • capacitor technologies.

However, even if the dimensioning models used in this phase are fairly close to the technology, these components still have to be built and installed in the converter, without the elements not taken into account in the pre-dimensioning calling everything into question. Fortunately, these additional imperfections, mainly linked to wiring imperfections, do not affect the same frequency ranges, and can even help to improve operation...
