4. Sizing and optimization criteria

From a dimensioning perspective, it is necessary to determine the influence of parameters related to the nature of materials, geometry and power supply, in order to define, from a specification, an optimal structure in terms of maximum starting torque. For the purposes of this study, we have limited ourselves to conventional stepper motor power supplies, i.e. phase by phase.
