Here, we present the practices used by various power companies. Two types of defense barrier are used, in line with each power company's defense philosophy, depending on whether it wishes to protect itself from a collapse phenomenon or a specific incident.
5.1 Overloads, cascades of overloads
The protection of lines against overloads is not a phenomenon-based approach in the case of meshed networks.
