1.1 Flicker evaluation. AC arc furnace

Several formulas are commonly used; it is obvious that they all take into account the short-circuit power of the furnace S SC f and the network S SC r at the point of common coupling. These formulas have both theoretical and practical origins; they contain empirical coefficients whose range of variation depends on user experience (cf. D 4 315 § 1.1.2 and § 2.3.1).
