5. Consideration in map design

The designer's action consists in setting up and applying a methodology for taking into account and verifying IS/IP and EMC requirements in electronic board development processes. This methodology is based on :

• IS/IP and EMC-oriented PCB design rules ;

• technological and electrical data on printed circuit boards ;

• technological and electrical component data (electrical models) ;

• analysis and simulation tools.
