5. METIS approach

METIS (Mobile and wireless communications Enablers for the Twenty-twenty Information Society ) , led by Ericsson, was the first major FP7-type collaborative project funded by the European Commission with the aim of preparing for 5G, running between November 2012 and June 2015.
