2. General principles

This article describes a solution for efficiently managing the use of multicast slice resources, within which distribution trees will be established and maintained to route content broadcast by one or more sources.

This resource management is based on the enactment, implementation and application of traffic classification rules that will enable terminal-receivers to access such content with an adequate level of quality, which may depend on the access capacities of these terminals and on events likely to affect the broadcasting of content over time.
