3. Conclusion

In the conclusion to the article [RAD 6 714] , we point out that the two most important parameters are SL and TS. It is therefore logical that the limitations relating to these terms of the sonar equation have been presented here, even if they are not the easiest subjects in sonar due to the lack of references in the open literature.

Limitations due to cavitation and stealth are linked to fundamental properties of acoustics and the ocean environment, so they will always exist. So, even if no one knows what sonar will look like a century from now, we can already...
