6.1 Introduction
Recent successes have brought AI into our daily lives. But AI also raises concerns, sometimes fueled by representations of science-fiction scenarios. It therefore requires a regulatory framework to guarantee its ethical nature.
Ethics remind us that what is technologically possible is not always humanly desirable. So we need to identify the risks and ensure that AI development is genuinely at the service of humanity.
