3. Defining disability to better understand accessibility issues

There is no single form, or even definition, of disability. As mentioned above, it is the lack of understanding of disability that gives rise, in part, to the discrimination suffered by disabled people. First and foremost, then, an essential question: what and who are we talking about when we talk about disability?

3.1 Definition(s) of disability

The notion of disability is a complex one, covering a wide range of more or less visible difficulties. Different approaches can be observed.
