1. Upgrading of light C2-C4 alkanes by bifunctional catalysis

Light alkanes (C 2 -C 4 ), often associated with methane in natural gas, are also formed by catalytic cracking of heavy petroleum cuts (FCC). Available in large quantities and therefore very cheap, these alkanes are widely used as fuels: ethane and propane as fuel oil for refineries, propane alone or mixed with butane as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)
