5. Conclusion

Nitrogen is interesting both as an inert gas and as a cooling and freezing liquid. It facilitates a multitude of commercial and technical applications. Virtually all industries can benefit from its unique properties to improve yields, optimize performance, preserve product quality and secure production processes.

However, choosing the right nitrogen supply is not always easy. Industrial gases experts can help determine the best solution for a given application. Non-cryogenic nitrogen production using a PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) system can offer significant advantages in many applications, particularly when 99.9999% pure nitrogen is not required. Demand for nitrogen flow is another important factor to consider when choosing a supply method. If nitrogen purity and flow profile lend themselves to the adoption of a PSA system, choosing this on-site nitrogen production...
