2. When should you opt for a PSA system?

With the various nitrogen supply options and technologies currently available on the market, making the right choice for a specific application can seem complicated. When considering whether to use a PSA system, a membrane system, cryogenic distillation or liquid nitrogen deliveries, it's important to consider several factors, two in particular. Firstly, you need to determine the level of nitrogen purity required to maintain the safety and quality standards of the final product. Secondly, we need to understand the plant's day-to-day nitrogen consumption. These factors help determine the best technical solution (figure 3 ).
