18. Depolarization

18.1 Lidar depolarization ΔL(r)

The depolarization of the backscattered light is measured by separating the polarization-parallel and polarization-perpendicular components of the probing laser radiation at the receiving end, using a polarizing element.

The two LRAN signals are written :
