Diffusion without wavelength change.

color ratio

Ratio of backscatter coefficients for 2 wavelengths.

depolarisation ratio; rapport de dépolarisation

Ratio of backscatter coefficients for 2 orthogonal polarizations, one of which is identical to that emitted by the probing laser.

scattering ratio

Normalization of total backscatter (molecules plus particles) by molecular backscatter at the same wavelength.
