Thermal regulations for buildings and their evolution are helping to limit energy consumption, especially in new buildings.

4.1 Current new/existing regulations (2024)

    The RE2020 is the environmental regulation for all new construction. It takes into account not only energy consumption, but also carbon emissions, including those linked to the building's construction phase. It meets three objectives (figure 5 ):
