3. Estimating energy efficiency

The presentation of the operation and analysis of the thermal behavior of geostructures highlighted the temperature field as the main criterion to be defined. Indeed, it is on the basis of temperature variations that mechanical dimensioning is carried out. In order to estimate these accurately, it is necessary to quantify the geothermal potential of the system, i.e. the capacity of the ground to supply the energy needs of the equipped building. To do this, we first need to precisely define the building's heating and cooling requirements. Secondly, the land resource must be estimated.
