3. Tin alloys

In the breakdown (in %) of uses for tin consumed worldwide (see the article Tin metallurgy and recycling [M 2 314] , already quoted), tinplate alone (47%) exceeds the sum of the three consecutive uses for tin alloys (brazing 23%, bronzing 7%, antifriction 6%).

3.1 General
