INTRODUCTION
This article deals with the problems of chemical analysis of unalloyed titanium and titanium alloys. By chemical analysis we mean the determination of quantitative elemental composition, excluding the analysis of metallurgical phases.
The description of methods for determining the content of certain elements (hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen) commonly referred to as "gas analysis" (although these elements may be present in the metal in the form of solid combinations) is excluded here, as it is the subject of another article.
