3. Special metallurgical phenomena
The development of more sophisticated products, combining added value and metal savings, will certainly become more motivating, especially for European countries that have to import it. It is against this backdrop that we briefly review several specific phenomena which, while demonstrating that copper metallurgy remains rich and dynamic, could become the basis for new advances and uses.
