3. ICPE nomenclature headings

The nomenclature of classified facilities is listed in article R. 511-9 of the French Environment Code.

Foundries are covered by the following families of headings:

• specific to the foundry sector (2550, 2551 and 2552),

• of the IED directive (3240 and 3250).

They are likely to be concerned by the headings relating to :

• flammable substances used,

• equipment essential to the operation of metal parts manufacturing processes,

• ...
