8. Effluent treatment. Bath regeneration

Degreasing accounts for a significant proportion of industrial discharges from surface treatment operations and generates potential pollution (figure 11 ), the two main vectors of which are :

  • gaseous effluents released into the atmosphere: gases, vapors and vesicles, possibly after capture and purification;

  • liquid effluents, mainly consisting of dynamic and static rinsing water, periodically supplemented by the draining of spent, concentrated treatment baths.
