kapton; kapton

Polyimide film (colored polymer) marketed by Dupont™, often used in the manufacture of flexible printed circuits as an electrical insulator.

excimer (or exciplex) laser; excimer laser

Laser whose cavities are filled with a gas composed of an eximer. Excimers are molecules made up of two identical atoms or molecules that can only exist in an excited state.

centrifugal coating; spincoating

Thin-film deposition on a flat substrate by centrifugation after application of a drop of the material to be deposited on the substrate surface.
