1. Operating principles
The automatic pressure die-casting furnace (figure 1 ) uses a gas (air or nitrogen) to force induction-heated liquid metal from the vessel into the casting siphon. If the filling level of the furnace varies, the variation in gas pressure keeps the level of liquid metal in the pouring basin stable. .
