The EOF process (figure

) is practically the only one to have been developed on an industrial scale. It was invented and developed at the Compania Siderurgica Pains plant in Divinopolis, Minas Gerais, Brazil, in conjunction with KTS (Korf Tecnologia Siderurgica), when both companies belonged to the KORF group. Dr. Weber was one of the main architects of this development
