1. Potential materials

High-temperature corrosion control first requires a thorough understanding of the operating conditions of the application in question: working temperatures, risk of overheating, types of corrosion likely to occur (including those that may occur during commissioning, shutdown or shutdown of installations), mechanical stresses.
