Choosing a protector

In recent years, there has been a significant increase in activity in almost all sectors of industry, particularly in metallurgy and mechanical engineering. The methods used have adapted to the increase in production. For example, the production of different models in successive campaigns has developed. The specialization of factories, decentralization and the use of subcontracting have multiplied exchanges of semi-finished products between production sites. Exports to overseas assembly plants, prolonged storage for seasonal sales, and the warehousing and handling of spare parts all involve ever-increasing volumes. All these operations make the use of temporary protective films indispensable; all the more so as, at the same time, new technical and commercial requirements have emerged concerning product presentation and surface finishes.
