6.1 Rigid isoviscous (RI), rigid piezoviscous (RP), elastic isoviscous (EI) and elastic piezoviscous (EP) regimes

To date, we have studied the EHD theory associated with a so-called piezoviscous elastic regime, i.e. with elastic surface deformation far greater than the lubricant film thickness, and lubricant viscosity increasing sharply in the contact.
