2. Influence of thermal effects

The mechanical and physico-chemical properties of materials and lubricants depend to a greater or lesser extent on temperature. Thermal phenomena therefore have various consequences on the wear of parts. We will often take as an example the case of manufacturing processes, where these effects are particularly marked. A detailed analysis of these phenomena will be carried out at a later date.
