Mineral form of TiO 2 that remains stable from room temperature up to melting temperature (1,855°C). Its specific gravity is 4.250.

Mineral form of TiO 2 that irreversibly transforms into rutile in the 600-800° C temperature range. Its specific gravity is 3.994.
