4. Manufacture of TiO2 ceramics and films

TiO ₂ ceramics are shaped using conventional ceramic shaping and firing processes. These materials are mainly used as dielectrics for high-performance capacitors with high values of relative dielectric constant (~100) and breakdown voltage (~100 kV.cm ^–1 ). Ceramic properties are highly dependent on microstructural characteristics such as grain size and shape, porosity and pore size, and the distribution of secondary phases at grain boundaries.
