4. Our advice

4.1 Pay particular attention to VLEP

ELVs are the producer's obligation to protect workers against health risks. In the absence of VLEP defined in a country, the most relevant VLEP must be applied according to the potential risks of exposure. Failing this, the use of more stringent OELs from recognized agencies such as SCOEL, the MAK Commission and ACGIH is to be preferred.
