2. Consult the MétroPol database
MétroPol is a database available on the INRS (sections: publications – databases – metropol).
This database has been compiled by specialists from CARSAT and INRS. It lists 120 operating procedures relating to a chemical substance. You can search by CAS number or alphabetically.
The mathematical distribution of data most often obeys a log normal distribution. This assumption makes it possible to calculate the expectation and standard deviation of a given distribution.
Readers are advised to read sheets A1 "Exposure assessment strategy and comparison with limit values" and A3 "Help with diagnosing the exceedance/non-exceedance of the OEL in occupational exposure assessment" in this database.
