5. Our advice

5.1 Limit uncertainty

It's useful to talk to the accredited body throughout the measurement phase, so as to understand the measurement results. This starts with the correct definition of homogeneous exposure groups. It is important that the organization gives you all the information concerning uncertainties. These uncertainties may be linked to :

  • fluctuations in pollutant concentrations from one day to the next;

  • the sampling itself (sampling rate, sample storage, etc.);

  • to the analysis itself.

You need to make sure that the work situations assessed are as reproducible as possible. In any case, it's best to get straight to the point...
