1. Check waste classification by composition

First of all, check whether you are dealing with hazardous waste. Waste is considered hazardous if it possesses the properties listed in Appendix I of Article R. 541-8 of the Code de l’environnement .

1.1 Properties that make waste hazardous (appendix I of article R. 541-8 of the French Environment Code)

H1 "Explosive": substances and preparations which may explode under the effect of flame, or which are more sensitive to impact or friction than dinitrobenzene.
