4. Deciding on the system for implementing your formulation number
The UFI number is a number that must be linked to a formula composition. This is its only requirement, meaning that the same UFI number cannot be given to two different compositions. Unless the variation between the two compositions corresponds to the ranges indicated in PCN – Concentration ranges ( Permitted concentration ranges for components with the same UFI number tool). In this case, they are considered to be the same formulas.
