3. Generate your UFI number

The UFI number is generated using an algorithm that l’Agence européenne des produits chimiques provides on its website.

On this page, available in all EU languages, you can:

• create one or more UFIs;

• check whether the UFI number you have is valid;

• Obtain a company key if you have decided to implement the UFI generator in your own software AND you do not have a VAT number or do not wish to use it.
