1. Determine its dates of application
The requirement to display a UFI number on the label of a chemical product (Article 25.7 of règlement CLP ) came into effect on different dates depending on the use of the product:
January 1, 2021, for products used by consumers and professionals; January 1, 2021, for products used exclusively by professionals.
January 1, 2024, for products intended for industrial use. January 1, 2024, for products intended for consumer use.
It therefore applies to the majority of mixtures placed on the market.
