2. Move around the site to identify sources of information

Having examined the "paper" documents in detail and the already defined elements of the project, it is appropriate to :

  • to visit the site;

  • research information sources and exploit existing databases;

  • to carry out field investigations.

2.1 Field trips

A visit to the site in its current state is essential before any intervention by the operator. In some cases, you may even have to make several trips to the site.

These visits will enable us to assess the situation and identify particular points, such as what is visible from the site, and from which areas the site and the planned building will be visible....
