4. How can you ensure compliance with the obligations arising from placing a product on the market or manufacturing it?

You have identified the substances placed on the market as defined by the REACH Regulation.

Your obligations under the registration procedure will depend on the annual tonnage of manufacture and/or placing on the market. A threshold of one ton per year triggers obligations for continuing to manufacture or place a substance on the market. The scope of these obligations increases in line with your tonnage (see REACH: Understanding the Key Principles and Procedures [FIC 0121] ).
