6. What on-board documentation should be given to the driver?

Specific documentation must accompany the shipment and be given to the driver before departure, either in paper or electronic form. In both cases, the shipper must be able to provide traceability and proof of documentation delivery.

The formalism of the on-board document is not imposed. Only certain mandatory information must appear in the documentation given to the driver.

6.1 Shipment consisting of goods "packed in excepted quantities".

In the case of a shipment consisting of goods "packed in excepted quantities", the documentation for transport by road must include the following information:

  • "Dangerous goods in excepted quantities;

  • number of packages....
