In order to prevent the risks associated with handling hazardous chemical agents, regulations specify the list of prohibited jobs or jobs subject to derogation. This sheet summarizes the prohibitions and conditions required to assign a young worker to work involving exposure to chemical agents.

A young worker is aged between 16 and 18. They may be admitted from the age of 15, as part of a work-study program (article L. 4153-1 of
