2. Establish a standard for PPE maintenance and inspection

2.1 Identify manufacturer-approved cleaning and decontamination processes

These are :

  • the products and processes used are compatible with the PPE materials so as not to damage them;

  • reconditioning/cleaning processes for certain PPE (e.g. PPE for temporary workers, trainees, visitors (shoes, etc.); these methods enable you to extend the life of certain PPE, which can then be "changed hands";

  • Correct identification and marking of PPE returns that must be decontaminated/washed (exchanges with street clothes/identifier, etc.).
