5. Keep an eye on your rejects

You need to set up an organization to meet the obligations regarding permitted limit values, monitoring and required declarations that you identified in steps 1 and 2.

If you are an ICPE, the prefectoral decree sets out :

  • sampling points ;

  • qualitative criteria (COD, SS, total metals, etc.);

  • quantification (metering of volumes discharged);

  • frequency of analyses ;

  • sampling and analysis methods;

  • the possible use of approved laboratories;

  • methods of disseminating results (frequency, report format).
